October is National Chiropractic Month!

This month we are celebrating with a fantastic product of the month (head back to our page tomorrow for the details) and tips for keeping your body health inside and out.

We are starting off with tips for those working from home.

You've heard it from Dr. Dale before, good posture makes a difference.

Make your workstation a sit/stand station by simply standing up every 20 minutes and take a break
to stretch and move.
1. Stand up and move your legs up and down like you are walking in place.
2. Look at an object that is more than 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
3. Gently shake your hands, wrists and elbows while gently rolling your shoulders up, back and down.
4. Take a slow, deep breath in to improve your posture and smile, then slowly exhale.
5. Sit down, refreshed, in a good posture. You are ready to get back to work!

Join us this month and get the whole family stretching!

Our 31-Day Stretch Challenge highlights a different part of the body each day.

Sundays: Neck- About 10-15 seconds per side, twice a day.
Mondays: Hamstring- 30 seconds at a time, twice a day.
Tuesdays: Pec Minor- 2-3 times a day for about 30 seconds each side. If you have any limitations doing this stretch, please ask us how to modify it.
Wednesdays: Quad- 30 seconds on each side. 2 times a day.
Thursdays: Hip flexor- 2 times a day, 30 seconds each side.
Fridays: Glute- 30 seconds on each side.
Saturdays: 90-90 (hip)- 30 seconds on each side.
